This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine. The paint does have some scuffs and scratches, but this is purely cosmetic. The paint is a little more worn down on the skeg. This unit has been fully disassembled. The gears, bearings, and inside of the housing are in great condition. Please note that this lower unit does not come with the trim tab, the propeller, or the propeller hardware. There was no metal in the case, the shafts are straight, and the unit shifts and operates smoothly. Due to shipping restrictions, we cannot ship our lower units with oil. Please be sure to add oil before use!

Driveshaft measures - 18-3/8" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft.

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
