The spline count on the driveshaft is 13. The spline count on the propeller shaft is 15. All of the splines on the propeller shaft and the driveshaft are in excellent condition. There are not any cracks or breaks in the unit. The gears are new with no wear!  Please remember to add oil before use. You can purchase this lower unit with confidence!

General Information

• This was purchased for a customer and installed on the engine the customer then came in and said they couldnt afford it, they drilled the holes for the plaining fin so couldnt return it to the factory. Has never been used.
• 1 year mechanical warranty

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing any parts

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
