This lower unit is in great condition and only needs oil.  This has a 13 splines on the propeller shaft and 4 splines on the driveshaft. All the splines are in good condition and are not chipped or cracked!  From the base of the water pump the driveshaft measures approximately 12-7/8" long. The paint is chipped and scratched but this is purely cosmetic. Given our unprecedented 6 month warranty on this lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!

Please remember to add oil before installation. 

To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing any parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
