All lower units are shipped empty. Driveshaft measures - 19-7/8" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft. Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. We also offer a 45 day return policy on this product so you can purchase it with confidence. The difference in the 2 units is that they have different gear ratios. The 2 units are interchangeable but may require you to change propellers in order to maintain the same speeds your boat would do before. So, in short-this unit is for 100 115 125 HP 4 cylinders from 1987-1997. It will look and fit identically with the 75-90 HP 3 cylinder models in the same year, but the gear ratio is different.
