OEM 1986-1993 OMC Cobra Lower Unit Outdrive Sterndrive 3.8 4.3+ L 1 YR WARRANTY

This lower unit is in excellent condition. The shafts are straight and spins smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight.  We are offering a 1 YEAR WARRANTY on this lower unit.  There are scuffs on the paint and this does not affect performance or integrity at all.  The driveshaft splines are showing the slightest of wear.  When the unit was drained of oil, it was clean and free of metal or water.  The gears and clutch are in good condition with slight wear on the clutch.  This unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked.  There are a few chips in the skeg and pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate.   Please refer to pictures for exact details of this listing and to insure that you are ordering the correct part for your boating needs.  Purchase with confidence!

**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
