1986-1993 OMC Cobra Lower Unit Outdrive V-6 4.3 5.0 5.7 5.8 L 1.85:1 6 MONTH WTY

This lower unit is in good overall condition with some corrosion due to salt water usage.  There are 2 studs missing from water passage.  The shafts are straight and spins smoothly. There is some wear on the bottom of the skeg and the paint is a little banged up; please see pictures for exact details as to this listing and to insure that you are ordering the correct part for your boating needs. We are offering a 6 MONTH WARRANTY on this lower unit, Purchase with confidence!

General Information

• The gear ratio is a 1.85:1
• Pressure checked to 12 PSI minimum
• 15, 20 Splines in good condition
• No metal in oil
• Shaft checked for straightness
• Shifts and spins smoothly
• Will need to add oil before use

**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it.

To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
