Mercruiser Alpha I Gen I Outdrive 1.62:1 lower unit for 1983–1990 outboards. Inspected, serviced, and tested for proper function. Gears are replaced only if bad — good OEM gears are retained. Please note: Please note that this lower unit does not come with the trim tab. We have installed a brand new skeg gard because there was a little damage to the skeg.
