There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. The driveshaft measures 16-1/2" from the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, making this a short shaft. There are 4 splines on the driveshaft. All of the splines are in excellent condition. The shafts on the unit are straight. Purchase with confidence!
