1980-1989 Mercury 20" Lower Unit 90 115 150 HP Inline 6 1 YEAR WARRANTY!

This Mercury lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in great condition. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint, but this is common amongst used parts. There are 8 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft. All the splines are in great condition and are not damaged in any way. This does have some chips out of the skeg, but this will not affect the performance. This does not come with the trim tab. There are pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate for a planing fin. From the base of the water pump to the top, the driveshaft measures approximately 20-3/8" long.  Please not that the cavitation plate has been welded, please see pictures. We cannot ship our lower units with oil in them and the unit has been drained. This will need to be added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
