This specific lower unit was removed from a freshwater motor and is in excellent condition. From the top of the water pump housing, the drivehshaft measures approximately 16 1/4" long and has 9 splines. The propeller shaft is completely straight and has 10 splines. Shifts in and out of gear and spins smoothly. The housing is in excellent condition. The unit was drained of all oil and it was clean and free of metal and water. The paint is a little beat up and this does not affect the integrity of the unit. This unit has been fully resealed, pressure checked, and a new impeller installed.
