This lower unit is in excellent condition! The driveshaft measures approximately 16.25 inches from the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft. There are 14 splines on the driveshaft and 14 splines on the propeller shaft. We have taken the time to strip and prime this lower unit.  There is some chipping on the skeg, but nothing that will affect the performance. After our cleaning, we did notice that there is pitting on the propeller shaft, but a prop can still fit snuggly on it. We did replace the driveshaft seals, the impeller, and the seal on the barrier carrier. There are a couple of holes in the cavitation plate. Please add oil before use. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!
