This specific lower unit is in good freshwater condition. We have taken the time to professionally strip and prime this lower unit. From the top of the water pump, it measures approximately 19-3/8" long. There are 4 splines on the top of the driveshaft and 13 on the propeller shaft. We have added a new skeggard to this lower unit, which is a $100 value itself. We did do this because the skeg was broken off. The intake screens are intact with no signs of cracking. There are  pre-drilled holes on the cavitation plate, where a planing fin used to be. This does come with the trim tab, but not the propeller or the propeller hardware. Also, please note that we cannot ship lower units with oil in them and this will have to be added prior to installation.  Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. model and it’s opposite on earlier model.Also, the driveshaft is shorter than the earlier models. Approximately ½”, measuring 19-1/4”
