From the top of the water pump housing, the driveshaft measures approximately 19" long and has 20 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. All of the splines are in great condition and are not chipped or cracked. As seen in the pictures, this does not come with the trim tab, the propeller, or the propeller hardware. The unit will need new intake screens. We have installed a skeg gard because the skeg had a little damage. The paint is scuffed and scratched but this will also not affect performance. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on this lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Purchase with confidence!

We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

Core must be of rebuildable quality
Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
Warranty begins from date of purchase
Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid.

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.

Please note that we will not accept returns for this item if ordered incorrectly. Please be absolutely sure this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing.
