From the top of the water pump housing, the driveshaft measures approximately 19" long and has 20 splines. Driveshaft splines have the slightest bit of wear. The propeller shaft is straight and has 13 splines. All of the splines are in great condition and are not chipped or cracked. As seen in the pictures, this does not come with the trim tab, the propeller, or the propeller hardware. This unit shifts and spins smoothly without binding. The oil was dirty but free of any heavy metal or water. The gears and clutch are in good condition with minimal wear. The paint was shot so it was stripped off and a coat of primer was applied. This unit is fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on this lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Purchase with confidence!

We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.

Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
Warranty begins from date of purchase
Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid.

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
