This specific lower unit is in excellent condition and is ready for installation. The paint is not perfect, with some light scratches and worn areas throughout. There are not any cracks or breaks in the housing of the unit. This does not come with the trim tab. Upon inspection, we can note that the gears are in excellent like-new condition. There are pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate to add a planing fin. The skeg does look a little rough with some dings around the edges and most of the paint is missing. This will not affect anything. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please make sure to add oil before use. Purchase with confidence!
