This lower unit is in excellent condition and is ready for your engine. There are not any cracks or breaks in the housing whatsoever. The skeg is fully intact. This does not come with the trim tab. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 21-1/4" long and has 8 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. The splines are not cracked or chipped. We cannot ship lower units with oil in them so this must be done prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!

Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
Warranty begins from date of purchase
Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

- 135 150 HP - 2.0:1 Gear ratio - therefore you will need to change your propeller

Mercury V6’s originally used a preload pin from 1976-1988. Aftermarket replacements and 1989 & up V6 lower units did not. Therefore, if you have a V6 lower unit with a preload pin, it could only be used only from 1976-1988. If you have a lower unit that does not have a preload pin, it can be used from 1976-2005. Also, please note that this is the bigger bullet style housing with a 4.75" diameter.
