This lower unit is in great condition and ready for install. We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation. Upon our inspection, we did notice that the skeg is missing a chip in it, but this will not affect the overall performance. There are 8 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft. All the splines are in perfect shape and are not damaged in any way. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or the propeller hardware. The paint does have scuffs and scratches. This does have the 4-3/4" bullet. This will come exactly as pictured. Purchase with confidence!

Driveshaft measures - 26-3/8" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft.
Driveshaft spline count - 20

Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:

  • Core must be of equal or greater value
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. Please note that if used on a 175 or a 200 HP, you may need to change your prop.
