This specific lower unit is in good condition and is ready for installation. The paint is not perfect, but this is purely cosmetic. There are not any cracks or breaks in the housing of the unit. This does not come with the trim tab. Upon inspection, we can note that the gears are in excellent like-new condition. It shows some previous signs of corrosion, which is why it has been stripped and primed.  Additionally, there was some corrosion around the skeg, so we added the skeg guard.  This is approximately a $100 value to you. 

The unit has been drained of oil and will need to be added prior to installation. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 19-1/2" long and has 14 splines.  The propeller shaft has 13 splines. All of them are in great shape.  Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!
