| Additional Info | This lower unit is in good shape. The paint is chipped, scuffed and scratched in areas, but these are cosmetic issues and only that, cosmetic, and will not affect the performance of this lower unit. The shafts on the unit are straight. We did perform a pressure check on this, and everything held. We still reccomend that this lower unit have a new seal kit and impeller installed. It does shift in and out of gear smoothly. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures 16.5" long and has 14 splines. There is some minor pitting on the driveshaft. The prop shaft has 14 splines. All of the splines are in good condition. This unit has been drained and will need oil put in prior to use. Because we have this listed for parts or repair only, we virtually cannot accept returns on this lower unit. Please confirm closely that this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing. |
