This specific lower unit is in excellent condition and is ready for installation. From the top of the water pump housing, the drivehshaft measures 16-5/9" long and has 14 splines. The propeller shaft also has 14 splines. The splines are all in great condition and are not chipped or cracked. We have taken the time to professionally clean and inspect this part to guarantee it to be in great, working condition when you receive it. For it's age, the paint is in good condition with only a few light scratches and blemishes here and there.  There are not any cracks or breaks in the housing whatsoever. Please add oil prior to installation. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!
