This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine. There are some cosmetic flaws and a crack in the housing on one of the mounting holes, please see pictures. This is why we have this listed for parts or repair. This has a 13 spline propeller shaft and a 4 spline driveshaft. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 17-3/4 long. All the splines are in excellent condition and are not chipped or cracked. This will need a new seal kit, impeller, and gearcase housing. This does shift and spin in and out of gear like it should. Purchase with confidence! Because we have this listed for parts or repair only, we virtually cannot accept returns on this lower unit. Please confirm closely that this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing. |
