This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition. This has a 13 spline propeller shaft and a 4 spline driveshaft. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 17-3/4 long. All the splines are in excellent condition and are not chipped or cracked. This will need a new seal kit, impeller, and gearcase housing. This does shift and spin in and out of gear like it should. We have also pressure checked the unit and it does withhold pressure. There are pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate for a planing fin. Please note that the intake screens will need to be replaced as well. Also, we cannot ship our units with oil. The unit has been drained and will need oil installed prior to use. Purchase with confidence! Because we have this listed for parts or repair only, we virtually cannot accept returns on this lower unit. Please confirm closely that this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing. |
