This specific lower unit is in great condition.  This has a 13 splines on the propeller shaft and 4 splines on the  driveshaft. The driveshaft measures 12-3/4" from the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft. All the splines are in good condition and are not chipped or cracked! The intake screens do show signs of cracking and may need to be replaced prior to use. The lower unit paint is scuffed in areas, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please remember to add oil before use! Purchase with confidence!   

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
