This specific lower unit is in excellent condition and only needs oil. This has a 13 splines on the propeller shaft and 4 splines on the driveshaft. All the splines are in good condition and are not chipped or cracked! We have professionally cleaned and stripped the unit of paint to have this in ready-to-use condition. By stripping the unit of paint, we are able to give this lower unit a full inspection. There is some pitting in a few spots, but nothing that will affect the performance. As seen in the pictures, this does have pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate for a planing fin. From the base of the water pump to the end of thes shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 12-7/8" long. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Purchase with confidence!
General Information
To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
