This Johnson Evinrude 1973- Mid 1975 Hydro-Mechanical Shift 20" lower unit is in great condition. This unit shifts and spins smoothly with no binding, and the prop shaft is straight. The driveshaft splines are showing little to no wear. The driveshaft measures 19-1/2" from the top of the water pump to the top of the driveshaft and has 14 splines. The prop shaft has 13 splines. This unit had clean oil free of metal and water. The paint is in good condition for the age of the unit. The gears and clutch are in good condition with slight clutch wear. The cavitation plate has been ground but ths should not affect performance. The unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed and a 1 year mechanical warranty.

• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty.The unit must be complete and cannot be locked up. It must spin. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
