| Additional Info | It has 10 teeth on the drive gear (bendix) that are in good condition and should work perfectly. Please note that this is an original OEM part, not an aftermarket brand. Generally speaking, we test starters while still on the engine to ensure that they turn the engine over correctly with no hanging up or whining. When starters come in already off the engine or a block is frozen and the starter cannot be engine tested, they are bench tested with 12 volts. As with any used part, this starter does have the normal, minor signs of previous use, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. There is This will make a great replacement part for your outboard! At this time, we are able to bench test this item. We are now offering a 1 year mechanical warranty for this part.
