| Additional Info | This unit is in overall good condition and will make a great replacement. The shafts on the lower unit are straight and we did shift the unit and it shifts and spins like it should. We also pressure-checked the unit and it til withhold pressure. We do recommend installing a new seal kit and impeller. The unit has been drained of oil and will need to be added prior to installation. This has the shear-pin style propeller shaft and is a splitcase unit. From the base of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 16-1/2" long, making this a short shaft unit. There are 4 splines on the driveshaft, all of which are in great shape. We have this unit listed for parts or repair, because it will probably need a new seal kit and impeller installed at this age. If you would like this done, we can do this for you for an addtional fee. If so, please contact us prior to purchasing Because we have this listed for parts or repair, we virtually cannot accept returns on this unit.
