OMC Single-Lever Binnacle Control Box

A genuine OMC binnacle (top/console mount) single-lever, mechanical-shift control box — new old stock from the 1970s. Part number 172487, which superseded 172134 / 0172134. It fits OMC, Johnson, and Evinrude mechanical-shift applications of the era. A very cool, increasingly hard-to-find vintage piece.

Condition: the chrome cover shows a few light rub marks that would most likely polish right out; no rust anywhere, and the control handle is in great shape. Please note these boxes did not come with a control harness, so none is included — this is the binnacle control box with its chrome cover, as pictured.
