Additional Info This was removed from a freshwater engine. The driveshaft and the propeller shaft are straight and spins smoothly. The splines on both are in great condition. This is a double zinc with a twin propshaft. You will notice if you look at the pictures, the skeg has been twisted up a bit. A simple skeg guard will remove this problem entirely. This will come exactly as pictured.

To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
