This Mercury gearcase housing is in good condition and is ready to be rebuilt. Please note that this is just the housing and DOES NOT include any of the internal components. There are not any cracks or breaks in this housing. There are some scratches and scuffs in the paint, but this is entirely cosmetic. This does not come with the trim tab. The skeg has some minor wear but isn't damaged or broken. This will come exactly as pictured and will make a great replacement. Please note that we will not accept returns for this item. This unit will interchange with the 1971-1979 models, but the housing on this one is rounded, not square. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL NOT FIT THE 30 40 HP 2 CYLINDER MOTORS!** We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed.
