This unit is in overall good condition and will make a great replacement. We did open and inspected the internals of the unit and the gears all look good and are in good condition. Unit has been pressure checked. Unit turns and shifts smoothly. This has the 13 spline propeller shaft and is a splitcase unit. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 16 3/8" long. There are 14 splines on the driveshaft that show slight wear. The cavitation plate has been ground down on the front of the unit. The drive shaft has been welded but is still in usable condition. This unit has had a new impeller installed. The unit has been drained of oil and will need to be added prior to installation. The paint is worn and scuffed in some areas, but is entirely cosmetic. Please refer to the photos to verify the contents and condition of this listing and to insure that you are ordering the correct parts for your boating needs. This will come exactly as pictured and will make a great replacement for your outboard! To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty.
