Johnson Evinrude 1993-2005 FULLY DRESSED Powerhead 40 48 50 HP 2 Cyl 1 YEAR WTY

You are purchasing a replacement powerhead, with a new flywheel, powerpack, VRO, and spark plugs. This engine was built by a certified repair shop from what was originally a rental engine and the repair shop used new parts as necessary from their inventory. This engine has been run in a test tank for the purpose of testing but has never been in the water.  

Upon bringing this engine to our shop, we have independently verified compression readings on this powerhead at 126/131.  The engine has solid blue spark, as it should.  It has 40 HP carbs but this engine can be changed to a 48/50 by changing the carburetors.  If you wish to have this done prior to purchase, we can do so with fully remanufactured carbs for an additional $225.

*After you change the powerhead, you need to order any future parts to the model E40ELERE.  This same model number would also cover any orders for your midsection and lower unit parts in the future.  

This powerhead will correctly bolt on any 40, 48, or 50 HP midsecton from 1993-2005.

1 YEAR WARRANTY:

 -Covers Powerhead (does not cover user error such as failing to add oil) and All Electronics. The carburetors have been rebuilt but this warranty does not cover fuel systems.
 -1 Year from Date of Purchase
 -Validation of Warranty Requires a dressed powerhead, with components, to be returned to us. 
   * We will pay to return your original powerhead.
   * Can be disassembled
   * If an issue arises with the powerhead inside of 1 year, we will pay to return the entire dressed powerhead and replace it. If an issue arises with an electronic item, we will send a replacement and provide assistance with changing the part.

We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed. We urge you to make sure this is the exact item you need by matching the part number to what is required for your motor.
