• This lower unit is in excellent condition and ready for use. This unit was originally damaged in shipping and therefore,was never installed.
• Upon receipt, the skeg had damage to it. We've added a new skeggard to the unit, which is a $100 value itself. 
• There are some very minor scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect the performance.
• The unit shifts in and out of gear, just like it should.
• There are 20 splines on the driveshaft and 19 splines on the propeller shaft.
• All the splines are in great shape and are not cracked, chipped or damaged in any way.
• Both shafts have been inspected and are completely straight.
• From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, it measures approximately 27-7/8" long.
• We have pressure checked the seals and everything withholds just like it should.
• The outer diameter of the bullet is 5.44".
• Please note that the unit has been drained of oil and this will have to be added prior to installation.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
