This Mercury lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in great condition. There are some light scuffs and scratches in the paint, but this will not affect anything. There are 13 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft. All the splines are in great condition and are not damaged in any way. This does come with the trim tab. The anode does has some pitting, but this will not affect the overall performamce. From the base of the water pump to the top, the driveshaft measures approximately 25-1/2" long. We cannot ship our lower units with oil in them and the unit has been drained. This will need to be added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!
We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
- Core must be of rebuildable quality
- Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
- Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
- Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
- Warranty begins from date of purchase
- Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The one warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. We have a 30-day return policy for all circumstances.
Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
