This powerhead was removed from a freshwater engine and is in excellent condition. The only issue with the motor that this was removed from was the lower unit. Upon bringing this engine to our shop, we have independently verified compression readings on this powerhead by our mechanics. The readings on the cylinders was 133/135. The engine has solid blue spark, as it should. We haven't started the engine and therefore the carburetors may need to be rebuilt. It has 40 HP carbs but this engine can be changed to a 48/50 by changing the carburetors. We do have 50 HP carburetors available and can do the upgrade for you (rebuilt and all), for an additional $225.
