This lower unit is in great condition and is ready for installation. All you have to do is add oil! We have take the time to professionally clean and inspect this item to give you confidence in your purchase. From the top of the water pump to the end, the driveshaft measures approximately 16-1/2" long and has 10 splines. The propeller shaft has 8 splines. All of the splines are in great shape and are not chipped and cracked. Upon inspection, we did notice that the tip of the skeg does have a slight bend in it, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. Please note that this lower unit does not come with the trim tab. As with any used part, this item does has some light scratching and wear in the paint, but this is entirely cosmetic. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!
