This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition.  There are some cosmetic flaws in the paint, such as scuffs and scratches, but this will not affect anything. The intake screens on this lower unit are in good condition with no signs of cracking. This lower unit does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or the propeller hardware. All of the splines are in great condition and are not twisted or damaged. Please remember to add oil before use. There is nothing stopping this from making a great replacement for your motor!

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The one warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. We have a 30-day return policy for all circumstances.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
