This lower unit spins and shifts smoothly. The driveshaft splines do have heavy wear and the paint is a little beat up. The driveshaft measures 16" from the top of the waterpump to the top of the driveshaft and has 14 splines. The prop shaft is straight. The unit does hold pressure, however a full reseal is recommended due to its age. Please add oil before use! Please note that we will not accept returns for this item.
