Mercury 1976-05 Long 20" Lower Unit 135 150 175 + HP 2:1 Ratio V6 1 YR WARRANTY

This lower unit is in great condition and ready for install. From the base of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 21 1/4" long.  There are 8 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft. This unit shifts and spins well with no binding.  The driveshaft splines are in good condition with slight wear and the prop shaft is straight.  The paint looks to be a little banged up and there are some chips which are purely cosmetic and do not affect performance.  This units oil was dirty but free of metal and water. The gears and clutch are in excellent condition. The skeg has a small chip in it. This unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed.  Please refer to the photos to verify both condition and contents of this listing.  With a 1 year warranty you can order with confidence that you will be getting an excellent replacement for your boating needs. 

We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
