This lower unit is brand new and ready for use. There may be some minor scuffs and scratches from storage, but nothing that will affect performance. From the top of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximatlely 19-1/4" long, and has 20 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. They are all in perfect condition. This unit does not come with the intake screens. Please note that the unit has been drained of oil and this will have to be added prior to installation. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty, you will not find a better deal for an OEM part. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The one warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. We have a 30-day return policy for all circumstances. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. The unit must be complete and cannot be locked up. It must spin.
