This lower unit was removed from freshwater engine. We have taken the time to open this and inspect this lower unit. The splines on both the driveshaft and the propeller shaft are in excellent condition. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. There was some wear on the skeg, but we have installed a new skeggard, a $100 value all in itself. The intake screens are in great condition. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab. Please add oil prior to use. This will make a great replacement part for your outboard! Purchase with confidence! Driveshaft measures - 18-1/2" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft. Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:
Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
