This specific lower unit is in very good condition. We have professionally inspected this unit to guarantee it to be in great, working condition. There are some cosmetic flaws in the paint, such as scratches and chips, but this  will not affect the overall performance. The skeg, as pictured, is a little banged up but not enough to affect performance in the least.  This unit does have a 2.0 to 1 gear ratio. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab, propeller or the propeller hardware. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please add oil before installation. Purchase with confidence!

Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:

• Core must be of equal or greater value
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
