This specific lower unit is in excellent condition. We have professionally cleaned and inspected this unit to guarantee it to be in good, working condition. There is some wear in the paint, primarily in the skeg. Please see pictures. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab. The intake screens are in perfect shape and are not broken or cracked. From the top of the water pump to the end of the preload pin, the driveshaft measures approximately 21-1/8" long and has 11 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. All the splines are in great condition and are not twisted or chipped in any way. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please remember to add oil before use. Purchase with confidence!

Core must be of rebuildable quality
Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
Warranty begins from date of purchase
Core must be complete and cannot be missing any parts
Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. This unit interchangeable with 1980-1986 and 1987-1997 models but different housing on this one (rounded cavitation plate on this one). This will not fit the 65hp 3 cylinder engine w/ square shift rod).
