  • There is no wear or scoring on the journals.
  • The journals and bearing surfaces have been cleaned and polished to show any defects, there are none present.
  • There are 20 splines on this crankshaft, all of which are in great condition.
  • They are not cracked or chipped.
  • There are two keys that are also in great shape. 
This crankshaft is in excellent condition! We now use a mulitiple step process to clean and polish these crankshafts, including vibratory polishing with several different medias and polishing. This helps in the inspection of the journals and bearing surfaces. The journals have been checked with a micrometer to insure that they are within specs. The splines, threads and keyway are in good condition as well. You will receive everything you see pictured.

You may pay more for this part, but you can purchase with confidence that this part has passed a series of inspections to make sure it is of top quality only. We take pride in selling parts that are like new and in great usable condition! This will make a great replacement for your outboard.
